ARCHBISHOP JOB MEMORIAL MISSION TRIP
July 12 -18 2011
On December 1, 2009 the Diocesan Council and the Deans of the Diocese of the Midwest approved Archbishop JOB’s retirement legacy trip to Project Mexico. God had other plans for our Archbishop. The Mission Trip continues as a memorial to our beloved Archbishop JOB. We will be at OBT, Orthodox Basic Training, (home building session) at Project Mexico. There are 300 missionary spots available. Some facts:- Must be 14 years old before the trip in 2011 (under 14 with parent one on one)
- Raise about $1300.00 per person (Airfare, ground transportation, meals, building supplies, etc)
- Have a missionary mindset
- Be ready to do God’s work
Groups: - 5:1 ratio 1 adult to 5 teens (14-17 years old)
- 1:1 ratio 1 parent to 1 minor (under 14 years old)
Sign Up and what now: - Pray about being a missionary
- Sign up your group, you and your child, or yourself if you are over 18 by emailing me and letting me know that you are going.
- Before July 31, 2010 send your $50.00 non refundable down payment. This deposit goes toward your Project Mexico payment. (download registration form)
- $50.00 made out to St. Mark Church in the memo “Project Mexico”
- Send to: Ruth Yavornitzky, c/o St. Mark Church, 400 W. Hamlin, Rochester Hills, MI 48307. Fill out the form on page two of this news letter.
