On Saturday February 20, His Beatitude Metropolitan Jonah ordained to the Holy Diaconate, Diocesan Seminarian Maximus Cabey, of Holy Ascension Church, Albion, Michigan.
Deacon Maximus is a third year student at St Vladimirs.
We wish him and his wife Photini many blessed years in service to Christ's Church.

On Sunday evening the clergy of the Chicago Deanery gathered at Holy Trinity Cathedral in Chicago to celebrate Bridegroom Matins.
Archimandrite Alexander (Golitzin) delivered a homily to the gathered faithful from throughout the Chicagoland area.

On Saturday and Sunday, August 24/25 His Beatitude, Metropolitan Jonah, paid a pastoral visit to St John the Forerunner Church, Indianapolis, Indiana.
During his visit Metropolitan Jonah concelebrated the Divine Liturgy on Saturday morning with clergy of the Columbus Deanery as well as local clergy from the Romanian Episcopate of the OCA, the Antiochian Archdiocese or America and the Bulgarian Eastern Orthodox Diocese of America. His Beatitude ordanied Subdeacon Rafael Fadil, St Thomas Church Kokomo, Indiana, to the Holy Diaconate.
Following Great Vespers on Saturday evening Metropolitan Jonah answered questions from the approximately seventy parishioners in attendance.
On Sunday morning His Beatitude concelebrated the Divine Liturgy with the clergy of St John's and ordained Evan Freeman to the Holy Diaconate.
