March 6: Lenten Retreat, Sts Peter & Paul, Lorain, Ohio

Lorain, Ohio [MW Communications] - The community of SS Peter & Paul here will host a Lenten retreat on Saturday March 6.

The retreat will be led by Igumen Sergius, Abbot of St Tikhon's Monastery and Father Deacon Joseph Lucas, current St Tikhon's Seminarian.

The retreat will begin with the Divine Liturgy on Saturday, March 6 at 9.30am with brunch and the first presentation beginning at approximately 10:30am.

The title of Fr Sergius' talk is 'Great Lent & Me-Mid Point", while Deacon Joseph will share his personal confession of his journey from Islam to Orthodox Christianity.

An added bonus to the retreat will be the presence of the miracle-working icon of the Most Holy Theotokos "She Who is Quick to Hear" from St Tikon's Monastery.
