DIOCESAN CLERGY CONVOCATION TO BE HELD 23-25 AUGUST

DARIEN, IL [MW Communications] - The annual Clergy Convocation of the Diocese of the Midwest will be held August 23-25 at the Carmelite Retreat Center here. The change from its usual pre-Great Lent time is to accommodate for the time line of the Episcopal Selection Committee (read that here).

DIOCESAN COUNCIL APPROVES EPISCOPAL NOMINATION TIMELINE

CHICAGO, IL [MW Communications] - The Diocesan Council of the Diocese of the Midwest, with the blessing of His Beatitude, Metropolitan Jonah, Locum Tenens of the diocese, has approved a timeline for the nomination of candidates to fill the See of the Diocese of the Midwest, declared vacant after the untimely death of His Eminence, Archbishop Job of blessed memory.

LIVING WORD BIBLE STUDY COLLECION DEBUTS - 02/09/10

CHICAGO IL [MW Communications] Available just in time for Great Lent 2010 a new collection of bible studies has been posted for use.

The Living Word collection, edited by Father John Matusiak and piloted at St Joseph's Church Wheaton IL, will eventually include 25 individual studies.
